DOing Improves Life

I've put myself on a rigorous course improving my non-verbal sensory awareness through the application of General Semantics.

I bet the authors did not know about the double-entendre in:

"When we give priority to 'facts' or non-verbal happenings rather than verbal definitions and labels, and maintain our consciousness of abstracting, we call this *extensional* behavior." [pg 98] Extensionalizing leads to an emphasis on *doing* rather than on being; on *using* and *evaluating* what we know, not just collecting information. We find this change in emphasis leads to much improvement in people's lives." [p182] Kodish and Kodish. Drive Yourself Sane. [Italics {**} by the author.]

From my own personal experience, I can verify that my emphasis on DOing has certainly improved my life.

    Wonderful connection WabiSkr,
I have for a long time lived by the concept that we are what we do and action with out hesitation and with no lust of results is perfected will and in harmony with the universe. I also have worked with verb based verbal communication to encourage action over analyzing, giving one energy and motion instead of static atrophied inaction and sickness in stagnation which seems to be a condition of the modern cultural vicarious system of life.
